        Assessment                            

 

This involves taking a case history, collating information from family/educational settings, observation of skills in real life situations, informal and/or formal assessments, and a short summary report.

Individual Therapy          Sessions                         

 

A therapy session usually last 40 mins to 1 hour. It will always have clear aims and objectives, be fun for the child and involve relevant people. The therapist will also provide advice about follow up activities the family can do with the child.     

 

  £60 per session

Input for a school

 

I can provide an enhanced service to schools. Schools/settings can buy a day or half day a week. I can provide help with Universal strategies such as vocabulary building, and attention and listening groups. I can provide individual and/or small group therapy. I will work in partnership with the teaching staff and SENCO.   

 

  • Small Language Groups

  • Speech Groups

  • Vocabulary groups

  • Whole class attention and Listening

 

 

£3000 per term for a whole day

 

 Signalong Training

 

I am a Signalong Tutor and can provide a variety of training for individuals or for groups:

  • Workshop - Exploring the basics of Signing and Introduction to High Frequency Words

  • Introduction - Exploring the Basic's of Signing, Elements of decoding any Signalong Sign, Vocabulary words used frequently by children.

  • Foundation Level - Recognised qualifiaction in Signalong, Indepth knowledge of Signalong and Language Development, trainees will leave with the ability to decode any Signalong sign and a knowledge of 260 vocabulary words.
